Your Apostolic Battlefield
A common characteristic of all apostles is the fearlessness we have towards bracing our battlefield. We are undaunted, determined and at times, a tad overboard on our arrogance. The point is, that if there is a battle to be won in our ministry, we are leading the charge.
The enemy has a secret weapon though. One we all fall for every time! Suddenly our strength becomes what unhinges us! We are so fearless in embracing the fight, that we find ourselves scattered over the battlefields of others, trying for fight for them as well as for our own.
In our passion to see real change in the church, the enemy is quite adept of taking that passion and leading you into realms that God never intended. It’s confusing. You are doing God’s work right? You are helping people right? You are investing spiritually right?
Then… WHY ON EARTH AM I SO EXHAUSTED?! You begin to wonder if you are missing something. Perhaps you are not anointed enough? Nope, you just need to step back a little back and outline your battlefield again.
So apostle, if this sounds like you, I have just two words of direction for you: STOP IT!
Simple really. There is nothing wrong with your call or anointing. You just keep losing track of your own battlefield. You are so busy “doing the work” that you forgot that your mandate is specific. Can’t you see what the enemy just did? He just used your very passion against you.
Now tell me, are you going to let him get away with it? I didn’t think so!
So let’s back this up a bit and get back to what God has put in your hands to do. What is your grace? What was the last instruction that God gave you? Have you fulfilled that instruction? Are you being true to your mandate and the grace on your life?
Listen, we all want to change the WHOLE WORLD! We ALL want to tear down the altars of Baal and build the temple. Every single one of us wants to whip the money changers and tell the Pharisees a thing or two. But get this… you are not the only apostle in the Church. (Who knew right?)
So how about you stick to your battlefield and I stick to mine? What if all of us just took down the Goliaths in our way and won our own portion of land? Then we would see global change! The Lord needs you to be effective. Wearing yourself out on “doing good” that God never required of you, squanders the mandate and anointing on your life.
So come then apostles… its time to get back to the core of who you are. The year is still fresh and there are foundations that need laying. Let’s get to it!

Apostle and Spiritual Mother
Ephesians 3:1-7 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
